Eating Disorder Treatment Specialty

Eating disorders are complex given their biological, genetic, psychological, social, and cultural roots. Treatment at RoundTable Wellness addresses the root cause(s) of the eating disorder, not just the symptoms.

Our multidisciplinary treatment team understands these complexities and are deeply committed to provide guidance so that our clients can achieve lasting recovery. We include family and loved ones at all levels of treatment as appropriate, with the understanding that “family” is not always biological.

Our approach centers around the belief that full recovery is possible for everyone.

Who we work with:

  • Adolescents (12-17 years)

  • Adults (18+ years)

  • All genders

  • Families and caregivers

We can help treat:

  • Disordered eating

  • Anorexia Nervosa

  • Bulimia Nervosa

  • Binge Eating Disorder

  • Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorders (OSFED)

  • Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)

Pre-Admission Evaluation and Recommendations

Due to the complexity of eating disorder treatment, our mental health clinicians and registered dietitians conduct comprehensive evaluations prior to starting services. If medical concerns are present, our medical director will be consulted in order to aide in the determination of level of care needs and suitability for our programs. If it is determined that a client does not meet the criteria for admission to RoundTable Wellness and/or needs a higher level of care than what we can offer,

we will help connect the client to the service(s) they need.
